What can we expect from Uematsu’s newest solo project?

The album will be entitled “Nobuo Uematsu's 10 Short Stories,” and is sure to be very different from Uematsu's other creations.

The project is the realization of one of Uematsu's long-held dreams; it is an idea that originated during his university years. The CD features 10 story-telling tracks, which will present an imaginative plot revolving around a cast of fictional heroes. The music details their ordinary life situations, as well as some completely extraordinary happenings.

This music will definitely attract the attention of Uematsu's fans, but Nobuo has said that the album is mainly geared toward a younger audience. The album will be released by Dog Ear Records on March 10th.
